As most people know, we were closed for over a month due to the effects of Hurricane Helene that devastated Western North Carolina. As you can imagine, especially this time of year.. as a small business time is everything. Time truly wasn’t in our favor this 2024 Holiday Season. Cakes by Jane has been such a blessing to our family for the last 20 years, everything about it. We have become so close to our regulars, we continue to gain “regular” customers with each year. We are so appreciative of each and everyone of you. However, we have lost so many sales and contracts because of this disaster. I am creating this link here so that if you feel led to donate to the Cakes by Jane family you will have the means to do so. We have never been ones to ask for a hand out, however we have had multiple people reach out and ask how they can donate to us directly. We appreciate all of our amazing customers. If you don’t already know, Melissa & Kota are the two who run the shop. Mother & daughter, we hire seasonal help for the last few months of the year, but it’s just the two of us year round. So please know, that when you are making purchases through Cakes by Jane you are actually supporting a local family owned business.
